Extended family sessions are always fun for me, so I was thrilled when some friends from church asked me if I could get some pics of them with their children & grandchildren! We had such a good time. It had rained all day, and we really hoped it would stop in time for us to get this session done! Thankfully, that wish came true! It was very hot & humid, but they were all troopers! So nice, too. Glad I could get some family pics from them!

This was such a fun session with my friend Sarah's boys, Anderson & Harrison. Both boys are such sweethearts! She wanted some pics to document Harrison turning one, and some sibling shots as well. We had a great time! 

Levi Turns One | First Birthday Session | Smash Cake Session | Baton Rouge Children's Photographer

A few days after our family shoot with my friend Becca's family, we got together again to get some smash cake pictures of her son, Levi, as he was approaching his first birthday! (These would normally be done on the same day. It just didn't happen that way this time!)

Of course now he is approaching two! I'm so behind on blogging! One day I'll catch up!

But what a cutie he is!

This is one of my favorite sessions to date! My longtime friend, Becca, and her sweet family! I love her boys, they're both so cute & so much fun! I had a great time with them! These were taken last April at LSU. I did her son's smash cake session just a few days later, so I'll show you those in my next post! Always a joy to work with this family! 

 

Scott, Holly, & Bennett | An Extended Family Session | Baton Rouge Photographer | Downtown Baton Rouge

About a year ago, my friend Holly asked me to get some pictures of her family. She and her husband Scott had brought home their sweet boy through the miracle of adoption, after many years of heartache, tears, and prayers! She wanted some pictures with the new addition to their family in celebration of his arrival - an answer to prayer for sure. Needless to say, I was super excited to get to take their pictures with sweet Bennett - isn't he so cute!? Holly invited the entire family along - both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We had a great time, despite the 90 billion degree heat! Boy, was it hot! But it was a joyous occasion! This baby is loved, that's for sure!

These were taken in downtown Baton Rouge, by the State Capitol.
