I was thrilled when my friend Emily asked if I would be willing to take her maternity pictures. She and Ryan wanted to do them at LSU's City Park and they requested that we do some of them on the playground! I thought this was such a great idea - very fitting for this fun-loving couple! I had a blast with these two. Ryan is hilarious and kept us laughing the entire time! And their furbaby, Buster, got to get in some pictures too! Since I am so behind on blogging I can now say, congratulations to Emily & Ryan on their sweet baby boy!

I was so excited to take pictures of my beautiful friend Kim and her sweet family. I couldn't wait! When I arrived at our session it was quite hot and humid...so much so that my camera lens kept fogging up like my glasses do when I open up the dishwasher! Not ideal for photos! After a few minutes the humidity seemed to calm down a bit, and we were able to get some nice shots. We were working quickly because we knew the rain was coming any minute. Sure enough, it did! I just kept taking pictures though... their son was just so happy and giving me all the smiles, I couldn't stop! I think we all had a great time, despite the crazy Louisiana weather! Precious family!

My friend Kristi and her siblings were all coming to town as a surprise to their dad for his birthday. Since they're rarely all here at the same time, the weekend definitely called for a family photo session! It was SO good to see Kristi, who I went to youth group with for many many years back in the day! Loved meeting her husband and son too! And it was really fun seeing the whole family, I cannot believe how grown up everyone is! I truly had a blast catching up with them & taking their pictures.
