Lexie | Senior Portraits | Baton Rouge Senior Photographer | LSU & Independence Park Botanical Gardens

Lexie's senior session ended up being kind of crazy! We had already rescheduled at least once because of the rain and Lexie had a yearbook deadline to beat! So we kept a close eye on the forecast and planned our shoot in between the predicted showers. I met them at LSU's City Park, where we got a few pictures of Lexie with her furbabies and we did some family pictures, too. Lexie's dad headed home with the dogs, and I headed with Lexie and her mom to LSU campus to take some pictures in her red prom dress. That is when things got a little insane! The wind started blowing like crazy! We were determined to keep going despite the fact that it was about to start raining! As Lexie changed into her third outfit, and it started sprinkling, and her mom & I talked about how we could both deal with a little rain, it began to POUR. This was not just a little bit of rain! It was a monsoon! Haha! There was absolutely no way we could continue! We shouted our goodbyes as we quickly jumped in our vehicles, and I promised to meet up with them to finish our shoot as soon as possible! That ended up being a few months later! Life was just too crazy for both of us with the holidays. So in February I met them at Independence Park's Botanical Gardens in Baton Rouge for the second half of our session. Would you believe we almost had to reschedule this one, too, thanks to the lovely Louisiana weather!? Thankfully it held off and it was perfect. As always I had a great time working with this family. Congratulations, Lexie, on your impending graduation!

I adore it when clients bring their dogs!
Is it just me or have class rings come a long way?! Love this one!
